As a SharePoint Developer / Administrator some of your key responsibilities will involve:
Responsibilities include supporting the existing SharePoint 2013 environment including designing, developing, configuring and deploying Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2013 applications; making informed recommendations pertaining to MS SharePoint information and site architecture, infrastructure, software implementation and web parts design, testing and deployment. Specifically, recommending and documenting best practices for software configuration, site permission policy, and site content management.
Responsibilities:
• Contributing ideas to continuously improve development lifecycle and toolsets for the to the Security Solutions Development Team
• Sharing SharePoint knowledge with Development Team
• Maintenance of the SharePoint application portfolio through upgrades and patches
• Assist with implementation of new SharePoint security solutions
• Provide 2ndTier support for SharePoint
• Document new IT SharePoint solutions
• Test and update SharePoint solutions on new SharePoint releases
• SharePoint administration
Desired Skills and Experience
• Bachelor or Master degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related Technical degree
• Experience in delivering SharePoint based solutions for the business using SharePoint standard functionalities and customization with both SharePoint Designer and Visual Studio
• Expert skills and knowledge of the Microsoft SharePoint platform (2013)
• Experience with Objected Oriented Programming & .Net
• Experience with WCF / WS
• Experience with IIS server
• Team player and able to coach/train more junior profiles
• Proactive, client oriented, result oriented, 'can do' mentality
• Working with distributed teams
