Appko is seeking a UI developer in CIS. The position requires working with our US based Client, Cisco Systems. This role is 100% remote however an occasional visit may be required to our Kiev and/or San Jose, CA offices.
You will be a part of a strong development team who is developing a Cloud automation workflow engine based on Google Go technology. The product will be utilized by many fortune 100 companies and Service Providers as an engine for other Cisco tools, enabling integration with variety of endpoints. The product is 100% cloud native and is cloud agnostic. This product is being developed based on all of the latest cutting edge technologies as well as best practices.
Essential Skills:
Expert knowledge of computer science, with strong competencies in data structures, algorithms, and software design.
Must have strong skills in JavaScript, React.js and its core principles, React.js workflows (Redux), webpack, Babel, npm.
Should have experience with containers/Docker
Experience with cloud native architecture (ie: 12 factor app vs monolithic app)
Must be willing to learn or have experience with CI/CD
Knowledge and Strong working experience with Git is essential
Should have good knowledge of Agile/Scrum, continuous integration and deployment.
Experience in UI development with HTML5, CSS3, CSS Preprocessors like SASS/LESS, Semantic HTML, Web Automation with Selenium, Unit testing with Jest.
It is absolutely critical for this developer to have good communicator/collaborator skills
Location: CIS Region, and will report into Appko Kiev office
Education:
B.S or higher education with a focus on CS and/or Engineering discipline
Working Hours: You must have experience and capabilities to work remotely with US clients. Working hours may overlap with US working hours 3 hours each day. Must have strong internet and video capabilities from your working location.
