Well-known US company Accoona.com has an opening of Senior Web Front End Developer to work at it’s office in the USA (NY) for 6 months with a possible prolongation or following work in Moscow

Accoona.com is a search engine with interactive tools that provides users with better web, business and news results; powered by proprietary Artificial Intelligence technology. In July, Accoona launched Exchange Place, the first marketplace platform to freshly-originate and deliver qualified and verified consumer buyer leads in real time*for all types of goods and services, from local to national markets.


Role Summary

- Develop software in a number of various technologies including Java, Tomcat Apache, HTML in a Unix/Linux environment
- Work with Tech Lead to correctly design and integrate new applications and enhancements into existing software portfolio.
- Work with Systems Analysts and Project manager to develop programs within requirements and assigned timeframes
- Work with other software developers to develop more complex software products using the appropriate technologies
- Develop test harnesses to be able to test the developed software effectively
- Work with QA functions to determine test plans and test cases that are require to fully test the software before release
- Research existing tools and technologies that can be used to help answer requirements

Required Skills:

- HTML/JavaScript/CSS (3+ years)
- AJAX & frameworks (2 years)
- JSP/Servlets/and frameworks (3+ years)
- Tomcat web container (3+)
- Unix/Linux skills (3+ Years)
- Fluent English

Preferred Skills:

- Agile development practices (XP, SCRUM etc)
- Experience with open-source frameworks
