• Evaluate design and development proposals, identifying and suggesting viable options
• Design and implement features
• Maintain software written by herself and others
• Lead projects and accurately assess project scope and address risks
• Participate in the feature/product functional design process
• Participate in improving development processes
• Contribute towards improving product infrastructure, including usability, reusability, performance and maintainability
• Ensure code is high quality
• Document designs and code
Qualifications:
• Track record developing applications for smartphones.
• Experience developing for MS Windows Mobile platform is highly desirable.
• Other desired skills include embedded and/or real-time applications, Symbian, and mobile Linux.
• Deep understanding of software usability issues. Track record building user-friendly software.
• Solid understanding of object oriented programming technologies and development environments.
• Experience in working in a startup environment is highly desirable.
