Java Developer for financial software – Zurich – Visasponsorship

An innovative financial software vendor is seeking a Java Developer to rapid expansion of their highly distributed systems.

As a Java Developer (J2EE, Spring MVC, Hibernate, TDD, MongoDB, SOA) you will be responsible for the development of a highly distributed system designed for high throughput flow. You will be involved in developing a large scale web application built across distributed system using the latest light weight technologies including Spring, Mongo DB and Java 7/8.

You will be working in a highly agile division of the company responsible for developing innovative solutions and creating a scalable, highly distributed system that will accommodate a daily user base of 4 million users. The company has seen phenomenal growth over the past year and is looking to increase system capacity by 60% within the next 4 months.

You will be responsible for all aspects of the development lifecycle in including architecture, design, development and integration of the solutions in a continuous delivery model where rapid iteration is the norm.

For the role of Java Developer (J2EE, Spring MVC, Hibernate, TDD, MongoDB, SOA) you will need the following skills:

• Strong knowledge of J2EE, together with lightweight frameworks including Spring and Hibernate technologies(Essential)
• Working in a highly agile, test driven environment using continuous integration (Essential)
• Experience of working on highly distributed systems and using SOA (Desirable)
• Ability to communicate clearly and work in an iterative environment (Highly Desirable)
• Experience of working with MongoDB, Angular JS and some front end technologies (Beneficial)
