Well-known Western bank has an opening of Junior Analyst (Moscow)
Working hours from 08:00 to 17:00, ready for limited travel to London/New York
Responsibilities:
- Production system analysis,
- Application support,
- Business user support,
- Communication between business and development team.
Skills / Knowledge Required:
- Higher education or last year of university (full time position)
- Working experience/Education a Functional Analyst developing Enterprise Applications
- 1 year experience/education in a Financial Services IT development project
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts;
- Good written and verbal English
- Diagramming and presentation skills (Visio, Power Point), Use Case modeling (RUP), ERWIN.
- Positive, stress-tolerance, responsible person, ability to investigate and resolve functional & technical issues on his own
- Development experience is a plus. Preferably with experience in all areas of the development lifecycle.
- Understanding of database technologies, data modeling, working experience with any major RDBMS System (preferably Oracle);
- Understanding of Java/J2EE technologies is a plus
- Experience in data analysis and data interface design, data quality assurance testing.
- Good understanding of loans, FX, fixed income, equity and commodity traded products is a plus.
- Knowledge of business analysis methodology and software is a plus
