Well-known Western bank has an opening of Senior Java Developer (Moscow)
The role requires primary business trip to Sydney (Australia) for 3-6 months.
Responsibilities:
• Responsible for the execution of unit tests on the code built or altered
• Responsible for the Bug fixing
* Responsible for end user support
Skills / Knowledge Required:
- Linux / UNIX with ability to read / write simple shell scripts in common languages such as bash, sed, awk, perl, etc… Solid UNIX fundamentals a must.
- Java 1.5. Use within high performance, realtime systems. Solid knowledge of the Java JVM operations including such areas as garbage collection methodologies.
- JNI would be a plus.
- TCP/IP. Experience with Multicast UDP. Socket API
- TIBCO RV would be a plus
- Basic XML knowledge
- Detailed knowledge of Object Oriented Theory and related design patterns
- Good knowledge of design patterns and how to apply them.
- Strong unit testing experience a plus
- Experience with the FIX protocol a strong plus.
- Understanding of the fundamentals of transaction processing.
- Strong communication skills. The role calls for dealing with people in numerous countries where English will not be their first language.
- Knowledge of UML process modeling a plus.
- Fluent English is a must
