Detailed responsibilities include:
• Develop, manage and implement release level test plans and approaches
• Implement and enforce test strategy agreed with key stakeholders
• Communicate, employ and enforce QA best practices and standards
• Agree QA timescales and requirements with key stakeholders
The candidate must have the following mandatory skills:
• Considerable previous experience of developing and executing test strategies, detailed test plans, test cases, test data and tangible quality measures.
• Knowledge and practical experience of all test stages and types.
• Defect management process experience. Able to clearly define, manage and execute a robust defect management process, tailored to specific projects and applications.
• Practical experience of defining, and using complex test data sets.
• Ability to detect areas where test automation is the smart thing to do and where manual testing is the smart thing to do
