Role: Technical architect, System Design, Technical Advisor
Short description: Technical Architect is the main technical and design authority in consulting projects. He is responsible for defining and justifying architectures of solutions, proper sizing, detailed technical designs and partial implementation and delivery. His position includes also presales work (product and solution presentations, participation on proposal process, presenting on various workshops). Very often TA is leading consulting team (defining and distributing work, evaluating quality, motivating people) and cooperation with licence sales (e.g. defining upsell possibilities, sizing).
Must have experience:
- Know how to design and architecture integration between systems
- Can express design using UML
- Have J2EE application knowledge
- Know how to design and architecture Web Services
- Know how to setup and architecture Identity Management Solutions
- To understand and design a SOA and EDA architecture
- To understand SCA (Service Component Architecture)
Nice to have skills:
- Worked with J2EE and Java Architecture for 3+ years. Has 5 or 6 years JAVA development knowledge
- Worked with application servers / message bus’s like Oracle Application Server, BEA WebLogic, IBM Webphere, SAP NetWeaver, JBoss, IBM WebMethods, Sonic, Tibco
- Worked with Integration of systems and processes on a technical level
- Worked with Identity Management Solutions
- Has done technical architecture for System and Data Consolidation projects
- Worked with B2B integration (RosettaNet, EDI, X12)
- Know how to setup high availability, scalability and security applications
- Have worked with Oracle Application Server (BPEL, Oracle InterConnect, Oracle CoreID (Oblix))
- Have worked with integration components from Oracle’s technology stack, i.e. InterConnect and especially ESB, BPEL
- Knowledge of Business Activity Monitoring (BAM)
- Knowledge of Data Hubs (Customer, Citizens, Product, …)
- Has worked with Oracle eBusiness Suites (ERP, CRM, …)
- Has knowledge of Stellent ECM
