«Software Test Engineer»
Description:
Parallels , a leading provider of hosting automation and virtualization software, is looking for a highly motivated software test engineer to design the next version of APS.
APS (Application Packaging Standard) standard is a set of specifications and technologies that cover packaging, provisioning, management and integration of cloud-based services and applications. APS covers full application life cycle and was designed from the ground up to address requirements of SaaS and cloud computing paradigms, such as complete operations automation. The purpose of APS is to create a large-scale cloud computing ecosystem where software vendors and cloud operators together deliver a wide variety of services to businesses and consumers.
Responsibilities:
• design and implementation of automated infrastructure for testing and certifying APS applications;
• design and implementation of automated infrastructure for certifying APS service providers;
• design and implementation of automated test infrastructure for testing APS support in Parallels Automation line of products.
Requirements:
• Bachelor degree in mathematics, physics, computer science or electronic engineering. Master degree is a plus;
• 5 or more years of experience;
• experience with the enterprise management and automation products and related technologies;
• experience and hands-on knowledge of C++, Java or .NET, XML, Web Services/SOA;
• experience with unit testing and SCRUM methodology;
• experience with modern test automation tools;
• proven success record in shipping quality software products and technologies;
• good written English is a must, conversational English is a big plus.
