Job Description:

The candidate will work in the internal Application Development department supporting existing applications and developing new features and applications based on requirements given by various internal business groups and external clients following Agile/Scrum methodologies.

The responsibilities of the job include, but are not limited to:
Development, configuration, and administration of SharePoint Portal; Manage SharePoint end user accounts, permissions, access rights, and storage allocations.
• Integrate enterprise content with SharePoint to include: content management, content indexing, personalization, workflow development, and user access management.
• Support application development throughout project lifecycles.
• Analyze information architecture and understand the departmental requirements.
• Develop SharePoint components including web parts, pages and services; User controls; windows services and workflows using Visual Studio.Net, SharePoint Designer, and other tools.
• Anticipate, identify, troubleshoot, and resolve SharePoint problems.
• Support of SQL Server Database System; Reporting, Analysis and Integration Services on enterprise and dedicated Windows servers.
• Administer and tune SharePoint-related content indexing and search applications.
• Develop, maintain, and enforce SharePoint governance policies.
• Ensure the integrity and security of SharePoint data in accordance with business needs and industry best-practices regarding privacy, security, and regulatory compliance.
• Create and maintain related technical documentation.
• Perform SharePoint network and security audits and manage security for all sub-sites.
• Deploy SharePoint custom features and packages.
• Perform and test routine SharePoint backups and restores. Assist in supporting backup and recovery of SharePoint sites.
• Monitor and analyze SharePoint server, application, network, and input/output device performance. Assist in supporting backup and recovery of SharePoint sites.
• Maintain and update SharePoint farm servers to ensure full availability.
• Develop code using C# and other Microsoft tools.
• Perform Data conversions to and from CRM application.
• Perform debugging and unit testing of code.
• Adhere to enterprise development standards and processes.
• Provide critical thinking and problem-solving services.
• Participate in daily Scrum meetings and other project status meetings as required.

Required Qualifications:
• Ideal candidate must be experienced in Agile Software Development Life Cycle methodologies with demonstrated experience on an Agile team. The candidate must have good problem solving skills, excellent coding/debugging skills, the eagerness to learn and apply new technologies and techniques and a proven track record as a strong developer.
• 5+ years of software development experience using Microsoft technologies. 3+ years experience in delivering SharePoint based solutions using SharePoint standard functionality as well as customization with both SharePoint Designer and Visual Studio. The candidate must have good problem solving skills, excellent coding/debugging skills, the eagerness to learn and apply new technologies and a proven track record as a strong developer. Ability to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions.
• Expert skills and knowledge of the Microsoft SharePoint 2010/2013 platform
• Proven information architecture skills, specifically related to SharePoint 2010/2013 data capabilities, along with thorough understanding of inter-relationships between content types, shared columns, search, navigation, information management policies, governance, and other data-related facets of an enterprise SharePoint implementation.
• Proven ability to design, develop, and implement SharePoint 2010/2013 solutions programmed in ASP.NET/C# with attention to user interface design.
• Experience developing applications for SharePoint using custom work-flows and SharePoint Designer.
• Expert skills and knowledge of the Microsoft SharePoint 2010/2013 platform. Extensive knowledge of SharePoint Central Administration, Service Applications, and site collection settings.
• Strong SQL database management and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with SQL Server Enterprise Edition(developing stored procedures, triggers, complex views)
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to assess complex problems and propose practical solutions.
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Microsoft Developer certifications (MCSD, MCDBA, MCSE: SharePoint, etc.)
• Experience with data warehousing is a plus.

Education (Minimum Requirements):
• B.S. in Computer Science, Information Science, or related technical discipline required, Master's degree preferred.
