Our client, an iconic banking institute based in the heart of the city of Zurich are seeking a highly skilled developer to help maintain and develop a wide range of SharePoint hosted services including self-service team sites, extranet, workflow, intranet and internet services.
The successful candidate will have a high level of experience and expertise in developing and supporting the highest quality SharePoint services. They will also be able to engage with business requirement gathering, translation of requirements and delivery of value adding bespoke services. The successful candidate must also be committed to helping develop internal staff.
Key areas of responsibility will be:
This role is a great opportunity to be part of a team responsible for developing the applications which support and enable analytical, knowledge and collaborative work across the Bank, making a difference to the business and to individuals at all levels in the Bank. The job holder will be responsible for:
• SharePoint Solution planning, development, testing and deployment as part of the team
• Running surgeries and workshops for SharePoint solutions
• Delivering high value Business specific requirements
• Providing post implementation support; delivering agreed change requests and rectifying errors.
Essential Skills\Competencies required:
• Excellent knowledge and experience in SharePoint 2010/2013 development.
• Extensive Microsoft development experience in their suite of development tools and 3rd party SharePoint products.
• Good knowledge of SharePoint 2010, 2013 platforms.
• Coding experience - ASP.NET 3.5/ C#, HTML 5/XHTML, InfoPath, SQL, VisualStudio.NET 2010, CSS, Telerik controls and components.
• Experience of web development methods, e.g. AJAX, JavaScript, JQuery frameworks.
• Good knowledge of Content Management techniques and technologies; promoting/transferring content across multiple farm platforms.
• Working knowledge of customising SharePoint user interfaces.
• Experience of developing or supporting Microsoft Office integration solutions.
• Excellent knowledge of developing custom SharePoint sites web parts, master page development & UI design to meet requirements.
• Excellent knowledge of code release/promotion across Development, UAT and Production environments.
• Powershell experience
Preferred skills\Competencies:
• Knowledge and experience in supporting Sharepoint Servers 2010, 2013 and IIS 7.5 to 8.5
• Knowledge of working in an agile environment or process
• Knowledge of VMWare ESXi Server
• Knowledge of SQL Server 2008 R2 Enterprise & 2012
• Ideally Microsoft Certified in either or both SharePoint 2010 and SharePoint 2013
• Knowledge and experience of K2 workflow platform.
• Knowledge of user experience (UX) interaction design, e.g. wire framing, user needs analysis.
• Knowledge of mobile solutions, e.g. blackberry, tablet.
• Have experience of working with suppliers and support providers of 3rd party solutions for problem resolution and developing change.
