TechDiscovery is seeking 2-3 Senior J2EE Engineers and one team-lead to its new Kiev location. TechDiscovery develops commercial-grade applications for world-class software companies – companies whose business depends on quality software delivered on time and on budget. Founded by senior software technology executives, TechDiscovery provides a range of software assessment, development, and consulting services to help
make software generally available. TechDiscovery has extensive experience in managing offshore projects and has invested heavily in infrastructure, tools and talent both in the US and in our wholly-owned overseas development facility. All TechDiscovery engagements are driven by our flexible process, proven in
more than 25 successful software projects a year.
Responsibilities:
The candidate would be onsite for the first project and understand the architecture and go back and articulate the same to the offshore team and lead the team over there.
Requirements:
4 years on J2EE Server-side development (experience with several of the following: EJBs, Velocity, Struts, Spring or Spring-like framework).
The candidate should exhibit good understanding and use of design patterns, and also have XML and Web-Services experience interfacing with 3rd party systems, service-oriented architecture).
Fluent English.
Be ready for the trips to the USA (training and/or work) - for 2-3 months starting late January – February 2006.
International passport is needed.
