Job Description
Analyzes, designs, documents, codes and tests software components of small to medium size and complexity. Provides accurate estimates and reports of development progress. Develops test programs and functional prototypes when required. Takes ownership of existing code, maintains and enhances it.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
Analyzes a problem and finds the best solution from a set of alternatives with minimal direction.
Has knowledge of programming languages and generic development tools.
Works well in a team environment. Has sufficient communication skills, both written and oral, should be able to make simple technical presentations.
Has ability to adapt to the changing needs and learn quickly.
Knows English enough to communicate in written with peers and customers, if necessary. Is capable of both reading and creating drafts of technical documentation.
Has C/C++ programming experience, preferably in Windows environment.
Works with little supervision from management.
Qualifications/Necessary Skills:
2+ years of C++ programming background and development experience;
2 years of commercial Win32 software development experience;
experience in Windows UI, MFC, STL, and COM (preferred);
experience with application integration/synchronization (a strong plus);
excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills;
very good knowledge of English and Russian;
B.S. in Computer Science.
Educational Requirements:
BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent.
