Well-known Western bank opens a position of Senior Java/С++ Developer to work at it’s office in Moscow with business trips to London



The role is in the team which is responsible for developing the infrastructure components, such as marshallers providing various transport support, the code generators providing various language support, and the supporting tools, such as build scripts, test framework, a web portal etc. The team consists of 2 developers, reporting to project manager, and system and functional architects.



The person should be exceptionally good in Java SE, understand, how to write fast and secure Java code, which generates minimum garbage. This developer will be involved in the development of business-critical infrastructural project, which is widely used across all the Investment Bank.



Technical skills required/desired:



Excellent Java, XML/XSD, ANT.
Excellent understanding of OO design and development
Practical and proven technical design and system analysis skills
XmlBeans, Velocity is highly desired.
C++, STL, Boost is highly desired
Experience of UNIX development is desired, including shell scripting & Perl
Experience of .NET development (C#) is desired

Ability to work on his own without any supervision, in stressful environment and rapidly changing requirements
Excellent understanding of the software development lifecycle, however, at the same time] the ability to work without well-defined development process and well-defined requirements.
Strong problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication skills.
Fluent English
