iStack currently imports FreeBSD Networking Stack, which was modified to work with iSNAP, into Linux system.
This creates two networking stacks working in parallel in the host system. It is desirable to modify Linux Networking stack to work with iSNAP, thus eliminating need for two TCP/IP stacks in the system.
Requirements:
Experience in development, debugging, and productizing large C based software projects
Deep knowledge of TCP/IP and related data network protocols: knowledge of TCP, ARP, ICMP is a must; knowledge of RIP, OSPF, SNMP and SGMP is a plus
Fluent in C programming language is a must
Proficiency in UNIX internals; Linux kernel or FreeBSD kernel development experience in particular
Excellent implementation skills
Five years of software development experience
Experience in network device drivers programming and testing is a plus.
Quick learner, self-motivated, ability to work in startup environment
Motivated team player.
Education: MSCS/BSCS or equivalent
English – advanced.

Salary package - from $1500 - 3000. Upper salary is discussed with successful candidates.
