As a JavaScript developer this role will be tasked with the development and maintenance of WEB applications: enhancements and extensions for existing company’s products and custom solutions. Key responsibilities include coding; understanding technical requirements and architectural choices; providing technical advice to the project team; producing a solid software design; working as part of a team in delivering on the goals of the projects.
The ideal candidate will be passionate about software development and technology, have demonstrable technical and problem solving skills. Though key responsibilities are focused on JavaScript and HTML5 development, the candidate will show a clear understanding of development trends and a broad understanding of software development paradigms. They will have excellent organization skills, good knowledge of software development life cycle including Agile/Lean development processes.
Knowledge of financial markets, financial instruments, quantitative analysis, and experience with financial applications development would be beneficial.
Skills:
•Strong knowledge and solid experience in JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, and jQuery;
•Strong knowledge of one of well-known MVC/MVVM frameworks (Angularjs / KnockoutJs / ReactJs);
•Experience with Node.js development stack (express, grunt, etc), testing frameworks;
•Experience with charting (d3js / etc) libraries is desired;
•Good English is a must.
Job Function:
•Participate in local and global projects of Moscow development team;
•Provide a graphical interface using Java Script & HTML to visualize financial data and calculations;
•Provide implementation for business logic and financial calculations;
